Skilled Nursing Care

Grand View has nursing staff on duty 24 hours a day to help individuals meet daily physical, social and psychological needs. Grand View’s licensed skilled nursing staff is knowledgeable and continually trained as new technologies and procedures become available; providing state of the art health care for our residents.   

Our medically trained staff can provide a level of care not found in many other facilities which includes:

  • Onsite Certified Wound Care

  • Onsite Phlebotomy

  • Onsite X-ray

  • Onsite Podiatry

  • Onsite Telepsychiatry

  • Onsite INR Monitoring

  • Feeding Tubes

MEMORY CARE

The unit is designed to meet the needs of all stages of dementia.  The interior is in a circular configuration to encourage residents to walk, and prevent a sense of being lost in a dead-end hall. 

Twenty four hours a day, our experienced staff helps residents with personal cares, medical, nutritional, social and spiritual needs, and a wide array of planned recreational activities.  Much time is spent just having fun, and smiles are a common sight in this unit! 

Consistent staff assignments allow for special bonds to develop between staff, residents, and families. With the help of families and friends, we get to know each resident as an individual with a unique heritage and special gifts.  Much time is spent just having fun and doing many of the activities that they would do in their own homes.

  • Comfy recliners for relaxing and napping

RESTORATIVE CARE

Our restorative care focuses on restoring and maintaining function, that are considered part of your daily care and provided at no additional cost. Restorative aides are on staff to help residents maintain mobility skills and maximize independence in daily living activities. Our restorative aides will also take over where our licensed therapists leave off and reinforce the training from physical and occupational therapy.

Our Goal:

  • To keep our residents strong and functioning as independently as possible.

PALLIATIVE CARE

Our palliative care program is not to cure, but to provide comfort and maintain the highest possible quality of life for as long as life remains. Our focused approach is to provide specialized care for the living and compassion for those who are sharing the person's journey.

If an individual is diagnosed with a terminally ill disease, Grand View Care Center has contracts with local hospice care organizations.

RESPITE CARE

Grand View’s Respite Care program provides short-term residency of loved ones and services for caregivers to relax and recharge. This would be utilized to give caregivers that need a break from the day-to-day responsibilities for their own health and well-being.
