Social Services

Our experienced Social Services team begins your journey by providing guidance, knowledge, and information pertinent in your decisions.  If you are interested in becoming a resident of Grand View Care Center or looking for information our Social Service team is here to help.  They also can provide you with information of how you can take advantage of our Respite Care Program.  Our Social Services Director, Wanda Anderegg, is readily available from 7:30 to 4 Monday through Friday, and other times by special appointment. 

Our Social Services Department will give you the information you need to make an informed decision about your care needs.  They will help you with financial questions in regards to your stay.  Then, they will be here to welcome you and your family on admission day and anytime during your stay.  They are also available when you have questions, concerns, or just want to visit. 

Admissions

Admissions can be complex; our Social Services team has streamlined the process and will help you through the necessary paperwork as well as answer any questions or concerns. Our goal is to make the transition as smooth as possible for our residents. Once admitted to the facility, Social Services staff will always be available to both the resident and their family. 

Discharge Planning

Finally, if and when the time comes for you to return to your home, or to another facility, our Social Services Department will help with those arrangements as well. Our goal for discharge planning is the same as our admissions process, to streamline the process and make any transition as smooth as possible for our residents. 

Transportation

Social Services will coordinate appointments and set up transportation (if needed) to the appointments. Grand View does have a transport van to bring any resident to necessary medical appointments for a fee.
